Bio: Katie Farr has experience both as a Player and Coach at the HS and College levels, specializing in the Post Position. She graduated from Bethel High School in 2000 as a three year Varsity Player with her team finishing the season undefeated (20-0) and competing in the State Tournament. Katie was named “Ms. Rebounder” her Junior and Senior Years.

After High School Katie, played two years of Junior College Basketball at the College of the Desert in California, followed by two years at Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri on an athletic scholarship, where she earned a bachelor degree in Psychology. At Junior College, Katie was leading rebounder both years, averaging 12 rebounds and 13 points per game and named MVP her second year. Katie started and was leading rebounder both years she played for Avila College.

Katie's passion for basketball led her back to Palm Desert, where she was an assistant coach for three years at the Junior College and head coach for two HS Elite Travel Teams. In the Fall of 2009, Katie returned home to coach HS basketball in the State of Washington and joined Northwest Magic in the Spring of 2010 as a HS & HS Elite Coach.
